ICICI Prudential MF launches new scheme
Name of Fund: ICICI Prudential Fixed Maturity Plan Series 41 Fifteen Months Plan
Scheme: Close-ended debt fund.
NFO period: 15-27 February 2008
Objective: A close-ended debt Scheme seeking to generate returns by investing in a portfolio of fixed income securities/ debt instruments normally maturing in line with the time profile of the Scheme.
Asset Allocation: The scheme will invest upto 100% in Money Market instruments, Short term and medium term debt securities/debt instruments and securitised debt. (The investments in central and state government securities will be in normal circumstances limited to 50% of the net assets of the Plan. Under the scheme, it is proposed to make investments in debt securities having tenure of approx. 450 days. Including securitised debt of upto 50% of the net assets and derivatives instruments to the extent of 50% of the net assets of the Scheme.)
Face Value: Rs 10 per unit.
Investment Options: Presently, there are two options available under each Plan of the Scheme i.e. Retail Option and Institutional Option. Cumulative and Dividend sub-options will be available under the Scheme. Dividend Payout is the only facility available under Dividend sub-option. Retail Option shall be the default option. Cumulative sub-option shall be the default sub-option under the Scheme.
Entry Load: Being a close end scheme it will not charge any entry load under all the series during the initial offer.
Exit Load: The investors may redeem the units on the stipulated dates on which Repurchase facility is provided, at NAV based prices subject to exit load provisions.
For redemptions made on Maturity No Exit load.
For redemptions made during repurchase facility period 2% of the applicable NAV.
Minimum Investment Amount: The minimum investment amount under retail plan is Rs 5,000 and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum investment amount under institutional plan is Rs 1 crore per option and in multiple of Re 1 thereafter.
Target Amount: During the New Fund Offer period of the Scheme seeks to raise a minimum subscription of Rs.2 Crore.
