The board of Power Grid Corporation of India has approved the
investment approval for transmission system associated with Mundra
Ultra Mega Power Project at an estimated cost of Rs 4824.12 crore with
commissioning schedule of 48 months from the date of investment
approval.

This was approved at the board meeting held on 17 September 2008.
